Economic growth should be a positive force for the whole planet. This is why we must make sure that financial progress creates decent and fulfilling jobs while not harming the environment. We must protect labor rights and once and for all put a stop to modern slavery and child labor. If we promote job creation with expanded access to banking and financial services, we can make sure that everybody gets the benefits of entrepreneurship and innovation.
A functioning and resilient infrastructure is the foundation of every successful community. To meet future challenges, our industries and infrastructure must be upgraded. For this, we need to promote innovative sustainable technologies and ensure equal and universal access to information and financial markets. This will bring prosperity, create jobs and make sure that we build stable and prosperous societies across the globe.
PROBLEM:
The critical problem that we would like to solve is that the Sustainable Development Goals are not known to the public and citizens are not motivated to act upon to solve these problems. If timely action is not taken, we will not be able to achieve the goal of addressing these problems by 2030.
WHAT IS THE SOLUTION?
Kind Cause is focusing on solving this key problem by:
- Raising awareness of the sustainable development goals and starting a discussion as to how to achieve them
- Involving the knowledge workers to brainstorm ideas as to how to tackle these problems
- Work with other nonprofits and help them become more efficient by making use of technology. Why? This will help them reduce their operational costs to help them to do more for our community ultimately.
- Help fund-raise for the nonprofits who are working to achieve sustainable development goals
